Sharni Vison, a dancer and Australian-American actor was born in Sydney Australia on 22nd July 1983. In 2001, Sharni was selected to appear in two episodes of the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. The casting agent wanted to have her play one of the major roles. Though she was able to audition for the role, it was not chosen. The role was instead set in the show as Cassie Turner, a young struggling girl living in foster care. Fans and critics were awed by the performance.
