Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer, best recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. After that, she acted on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. She also released her first music album It's Time for Tina in the same year. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Big Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. The film was a big hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. As an undergraduate at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she also has made a name for herself as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
