Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has received numerous awards for her writing and design. She advocates the rights of animals. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The daughter of an artistic family in New York she wished to work in the field of art. In the beginning, she worked as a assistant to photographers. In the future she shifted her focus into directing and modeling. She received the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world recognition along with an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three films, she was voted the Top female box-office debut around the globe. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. She was a part of several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three times.
