Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began writing Nuclear energy and policy documents for the White House. Her first impression was that her job to be intellectually stimulating, however, she eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny food specialty store known as Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to turn the store into extremely successful before she sold the business. After that, she started writing one of her cookbooks. The cookbooks were followed by many more, and magazines columns that were added. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut, and was a huge success. The company also offers a wide range of products ranging from cooking supplies to storage and equipment. Ina, who is self-taught, has never studied at the culinary institute or at an establishment. She is known for her easy method of cooking, and her effortless approach to entertainment. Her most famous recipes are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
