Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese roots, while Winston Barrett Munn's clan has origins deep within the American South. Olivia was just two years old when her parents split up. Her family consisted of her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was an United States Air Force member. The family left Oklahoma and moved to different locations, however she lived the majority of her childhood in Tokyo. During this time, Olivia participated in various local theater productions. Later she became a Japanese model. Olivia moved into Los Angeles when her family had came back in the United States to follow her ambition to become an actor. After a few small performances, her career took a very promising turn after she secured the part of Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed TV series Beyond the Break (2006) and also the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan (2007). She hosts G4's podcasts "The Daily Nut" and "Formula D". She is a huge fan of surfing, and has been practising since watching the tv program Beyond the Break (2006). She also holds a blackbelt in Taekwondo. The woman she married was her mother at the age of two years old to an Air Force Officer. While the family was relocated many times, the bulk of her existence was in Tokyo Japan in Japan, which is the area where her stepfather worked for the military. Attended the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in journalism. She also minored in Japanese as well as dramatic arts.
