Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis Missouri, where she worked at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a BA (with honors) in Theater and Communication. Her career began in Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in more than 20 musicals and plays. They included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven main roles in LA's Storybook Theatre. Kelly continued her improvisation study in The Groundlings, and joined Theatre West as a Company Member. As a result, she began landing roles in films and television. A unique combination of her voice with her small stature enabled Kelly to come up with a diverse range of colorful characters. Her role with Naomi Watts as Samara the villain in The Ring 2 is well recognized, but she's better recognized for playing the vibrant receptionist of Two and a Half Men. From 2011-2015 Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party night-time hopper regular on the TV Land show The Exes. In addition, Kelly played Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling in ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the The CW's No Tomorrow she played a mother who was stressed out in suburban life. She is known for her soprano voice in a variety of animated series, such as Tom and Jerry's Sofia the First or Doc McStuffins. In the last few years, she has been seen as the dim but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. Her private life is that is quite quiet, with her husband and two kids. She is a lover of sewing and write and volunteers at schools.
